Message	After you figure that out (because after all, you will be under a car) you could just about eliminate anything coming from China. You want to look for a ALI certified lift. Check out this site for info: [ http://www.autolift.org/faq.htm ] I have a Rotary lift and am very pleased with it. To me a used Rotary (which you should be able to pick up for less than $2,000 installed) was a better option than a new China lift. Rotary, Bend-Pak, Mohawk, Challenger all make great lifts.
